Our little firm was started quite by accident.
Of course there's always the dream of running your own business,
but I didn't really think it would happen quite so fast or
as easily.
Working as the Marketing and Public Relations
Director for a software development company in California,
I got my first taste of Search Engine Optimization. The company
didn't have the budget or resources to implement an SEO campaign
so I was tasked with having to figure it out, then get it
done.
So for several months, my laptop became my companion
over many a long night researching, testing, studying. After
educating myself a bit, I began testing different methods
and measuring the results. Finally, I found a formula that
worked. One that was sound, ethical, and most certainly effective.
For the first time, the company was able to
get beyond the third page of Google's search results for their
main keyword (which, by the way, was an extremely competitive
term). Not only did they find themselves on page 1, but they
reached #3.
Once word began to spread about what I was doing,
friends started asking for my help. So, on the side, I started
taking on projects that were also successful. Over time, word
spread so much that I had to give up the full-time job and
actually start a business.
I'm very grateful for how things have evolved
and I treasure my clients for being the catalyst. I was never
happy working for other companies because my motivation comes
from helping people, whereas a company's motivation is to
make money. So I never felt very inspired or as if I were
doing something good or meaningful.
Because of those clients, the ones who spread
the word and said positive things, my life has changed, and
for that I am so very grateful. Having the freedom to work
with clients in a way that actually makes sense is very inspirational.
It's always such a thrill to call a client and tell them they're
#1 - literally.
The philosophy of this company is based in this
story. Many companies will claim they love their customers.
But for us, it's more than that. We see our clients as the
building blocks of our livlihoods and it is our obligation
to take care of them and their business.
We approach our clients' business as our own.
We thank you for visiting with us and hope we'll
have the opportunity to work together.
